Emulate Moringa Powder and Capsules - Free of Salmonella - NO RECALL
Dear Customers,
Recently the U.S. Food & Drug Administration announced a Salmonella outbreak in several states resulting from contaminated Moringa Oleifera Leaf Capsules and Powder.
The resulting recall affected products being sold primarily online by: TNVitamins, Doctor’s Pride, Live it Up, and Why Not Natural company websites, and other online sites, including Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.
See article published by the Center for Disease Control https://www.cdc.gov/salmonella/outbreaks/supergreenssupplementpowders-1-26/index.html.
We immediately contacted our supplier to clarify potential risk or possibility of recall. Emulate purchases our Moringa capsules directly from OrganicVeda.com a USDA Organic certified producer in India. We have been assured that all testing at their facility verifies that the Moringa Oleifera powder and capsules coming from OrganicVeda are FREE of any contamination from Salmonella or other disease.
We feel confident to give you our assurance and guarantee that the Moringa Oleifera Leaf Powder Capsules that you purchase from Emulate are SAFE and that any previous lots are also safe.

According to the CDC - Stores/sources affected
Recalled dietary supplements with moringa leaf powder were primarily sold online at the TNVitamins, Doctor’s Pride, Live it Up, and Why Not Natural company websites, and other online sites, including Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.
Public health officials are currently tracking multiple multistate Salmonella outbreaks linked to contaminated Moringa oleifera leaf powders and capsules. Because these dietary supplements have long shelf lives, federal agencies strongly advise checking your home and discarding any recalled products. [1, 2, 3]
Lot numbers purchased from Emulate have not reported any occurrence of illness now or at any time in the past 10 years since we started selling them.
IF the Boise co-op would like to have a flag with information to display next to Emulate’s Moringa Capsules, please let us know and we will provide it for you immediately.
